Thanks God for it today.
Both he and his artist brother, Bill Cross, have traveled extensively
throughout Alaska painting, teaching art classes and enjoying the many
gifts the Great State has to offer.

The summer of '75 was spent camped out in a Rain Forest on
Prince of Whales Island, sampling the fantistic fishing and
non-stop rain.

Vernon can be found on many summer days trying to find some
of those elusive Gold Nuggets or catching rainbow trout with his kids
from the small lake in front of his cabin. Where he lives with his lovely
wife Sharon and four Daughters.
Ever observant, many of his paintings reflect personal experiences
