Thumb Butte, PrescottCourt House Square, PrescottRoad into Superstition Mountain

North from Phoenix in the lower desert, 100 miles to the Bradshaw Mountains and the Transition Zone below the Colorado Plateau, you will find the heart of Arizona's Gold Zone. True History over every hill and wash! Less than a century ago, Miners and Native Americans had confrontations on a daily basis. It must have been the lure of Gold, the beautiful yellow brilliance of wealth and the good life! This is rugged country, only 4x4 travel. There is not a house, sign, or light for miles. Wildlife everywhere so bring your camera. You will prospect some famous places like Granite Creek, Burro Creek, Lynx Creek, and many more. This is where the big nuggets are found. Base camp is in a very isolated area, 25 miles from the closest paved road. Have no worries, we have radio contact to the world for safety. This is a trip for the rugged individual. Do it the way they did a 100 years ago, with some modern technolgy and comforts ... A trip you'll never forget!
